A fifth-generation Texan, Alison Phifer has always had a passion for real estate. With two parents in the home building and remodeling business, her childhood weekends included many visits to open houses, investor properties, and empty lots.
After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas, Alison spent more than 15 years working in the financial field. Her positions ranged from online trading to managing the affairs of high-net-worth clients; what united them all was a focus on customer service.
Still, her natural talents for real estate were always present. Whenever a friend needed input on a renovation or transaction, Alison’s phone would ring. She just can’t resist the challenge of finding (or creating) the perfect home for a particular person.
“I find myself looking for homes for friends that aren’t even looking, but I know what they want,” Alison says. “I know if the home has challenges, I have realistic ideas to make it what they want.”
