Jim McGuire has made a career building and managing relationships with his clients. As an IBM client executive for 25 years, Jim managed the entire relationship between IBM and some of the largest corporations in the United States. His role included opportunity identification, developing and executing account plans and sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and delivering solutions on time and within budget. Equally important, Jim had the responsibility to manage the customer’s satisfaction with IBM.
Jim’s experience in the corporate world ties directly to his effectiveness at Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate. The complexities of a real estate transaction are very similar in terms of the contracts, finances and time constraints associated with a successful outcome. Jim’s demeanor is a calming presence in the throes of what can be a difficult process.
Jim has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Kent State University. With his wife and business partner, Laurie, he has three children and six grandchildren. His middle daughter, Katie, is also in real estate with them.
