Looking back, there were many clues that Sissy Pardue would one day end up in residential real estate. In high school, she was voted “Friendliest Girl.” She also hosted an American Field Student (AFS) from Japan. She organized and still serves (17 years now) in the Business Network International (BNI) Lake Highlands Group, and as an active member and group leader of Fellowship Bible Church Dallas. Even now, the same enthusiasm for meeting people and helping them connect with community continues to shine through in all that Sissy does.
Throughout her 20 years in real estate, Sissy established herself at reputable brokerages, including Ellen Terry Realtors. There she worked on the Phyllis Glover Team, before the brand merged with Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate in 2011. When Glover passed in 2016, Sissy and Andy Scott decided to name their new team GPS (Glover Pardue Scott) in honor of their close friend and mentor.
Sissy has been recognized as a Top Producer and selected as one of D Magazine’s D Best Realtors, along with many other honors. When asked what she enjoys most about her career, Sissy says it’s the gratification of helping someone with a big investment decision. She describes it as a roller coaster ride – “sometimes scary, sometimes exciting, but always thrilling!”
In her down time, Sissy works out, plays golf and travels, taking girls’ trips and road trips with her mom and Josie Girl, “The Wonder Dog,” a little Shih Tzu breed inherited six years ago from her father. Josie Girl is with her so much, clients know her by name or wonder where she is if she’s not with Sissy.
