Ebby Halliday Companies Join HPISD in Celebrating Upcoming Centennial

In what felt like a family reunion during halftime of last Friday’s football game at Highlander Stadium, company founder Ebby Halliday and President and CEO Mary Frances Burleson took the field with Associates who attended the Highland Park Independent School District, as well as Associates’ children who currently attend HPISD schools.

The big announcement? The Ebby Halliday Family of Companies, which includes Ebby Halliday Realtors and Dave Perry-Miller & Associates, will be the presenting sponsor of the centennial anniversary of the Highland Park Independent School District.

“The schools have long been the heart of this exceptional community, and our company is pleased to help mark this significant milestone in a meaningful way,” said Mary Frances Burleson, president and CEO of the Ebby Halliday Companies and a member of the board of directors of the Highland Park Education Foundation. Ms. Burleson is also a graduate of Highland Park High School.

HPISD Centennial Co-Chairs Bruce and Leeanne Hunt accepted the corporate sponsorship on behalf of the Education Foundation.

“What an honor it was to have Ebby Halliday and her Associates join us in celebrating what will be a grand occasion in 2014,” Hunt said. “This is a district with an amazing commitment to excellence in education and service, just as The Ebby Halliday Companies have a history of commitment to excellence in business and attracting families to this exceptional community. This is a perfect match.”

With five of its 30 offices in and around the Park Cities, The Ebby Halliday Companies are deeply rooted in the community, having served Park Cities home buyers and sellers for nearly 70 years.

More than 200 Ebby Halliday and Dave Perry-Miller associates and their family members have attended or are currently attending school in the HPISD.

Congratulations to the Highland Park Independent School District for 100 amazing years!
