Fresh produce, quality ingredients and a delicious meal — it’s the recipe that Janice Provost sticks to that has made her restaurant, Parigi, a mainstay of Dallas’ Oak Lawn neighborhood for more than 30 years.

 

With its intimate dining room and ever-changing menu, Parigi is a fusion of Parisian bistros and trendy New York eateries. Provost sources her ingredients from farms and small businesses across North Texas, as well as her own backyard garden, so diners can experience truly local flavors.

 

Now, loyal patrons and new fans alike can enjoy Provost’s meals at home through two recipes Provost provided in Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate’s Fall/Winter 2017 Fine Home Collection.

 


 

The main dish is fish steamed in Hoja santa leaf with tomato relish, which features an herb puree of serrano chilies, grated coconut and cumin. A fresh apple cake from Provost’s mother provides the perfect autumn dessert. Royal Blue Grocery Sommelier Christina Chilcoat provides wine pairings for each dish.
