Sarah Todd has the distinct talent of seeing the world a little bit differently.
From views of London’s Tower Bridge to her safari adventures, Todd has the ability of transforming what she sees into abstract visions of bold acrylics and glistening metallics underneath a layer of sleek resin.
It’s her unique portrayal of the world around her that has captured the attention of many Dallas residents. Since she first became a full-time artist about a year ago, Todd has been working nonstop to bring her Midas touch to homes across Dallas and beyond.

At Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate, we pride ourselves on providing our clients a luxury experience — regardless of the price point — before, during and after they buy or sell their homes.
Since 2007, our clients have trusted the brand to represent some of the most prestigious home sales in Dallas’ most-established neighborhoods. This feat is accomplished by keeping our clients’ best interests top-of-mind.
The Salmans were no strangers to homeownership, but they were ready to downsize their investments — the couple owned a ranch outside of Dallas and a downtown condo they wanted to sell.
They worked with three associates to sell the ranch and condo and then purchase a home in the city. Working with those agents, the Salmans said, was the most satisfying experience they’ve had in real estate.
“In a general sense, each was willing and capable when it came to representing our interests and negotiating with both buyers and sellers.”
As one of the Top 10 custom homebuilders in Dallas, McCowen-Sainton Custom Homes has built a reputation of fine craftsmanship for more than 20 years. When it came time to expand to the Park Cities, Pat McCowen and Steve Sainton put their trust in Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate to steer them in the right direction.
They worked with the brand to better understand where to build their speculative homes, price their products, and create innovative marketing ideas.
“It was also important to have a brand with Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate’s excellent reputation to represent our company,” McCowen and Sainton said.
As a young professional, Ellie Turner was ready to make a big investment in purchasing her first home after renting for two years. She wanted to stay in her Oak Cliff neighborhood and found her agent after visiting an open house.
For Turner, her Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate agent stood out for her ability to go above and beyond the task at hand, which included including Turner’s parents in her home-buying experience.
“(During closing), she made sure (my dad) was with us — by holding the phone while he watched via FaceTime. My whole family was able to be there, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”
The Phillips were residing in Lakewood when they decided to relocate to the Park Cities for its schools and a shorter commute to work.
Selling their home had its bumps: After accepting one offer, the buyer terminated on the last day of the option period. Dejected, the Phillips sought their agent’s help not only restaging their home but keeping them optimistic through the disappointment.
“We ended up having three offers in one weekend,” the Phillips said. “We were having second and third showings and offers, without lowering the price significantly.”
Mother/daughter duo Julie Festervan and Ashley Hoffman chose another mother-daughter team to ensure the purchase of their homes. After living in a condo, Festervan desired more greenery and a yard again. Hoffman was moving from Nashville as a newlywed and ready to purchase her first home with her husband.
They were able to purchase their homes within a month or two of each other. Festervan and Hoffman said their agents were personable and had excellent negotiating skills for the purchase of their homes.
“We would use them again!” The mother/daughter duo said. “They are people of character: kind and honest with a lot of knowledge about the market.”

Fresh produce, quality ingredients and a delicious meal — it’s the recipe that Janice Provost sticks to that has made her restaurant, Parigi, a mainstay of Dallas’ Oak Lawn neighborhood for more than 30 years.
With its intimate dining room and ever-changing menu, Parigi is a fusion of Parisian bistros and trendy New York eateries. Provost sources her ingredients from farms and small businesses across North Texas, as well as her own backyard garden, so diners can experience truly local flavors.
Now, loyal patrons and new fans alike can enjoy Provost’s meals at home through two recipes Provost provided in Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate’s Fall/Winter 2017 Fine Home Collection.
The main dish is fish steamed in Hoja santa leaf with tomato relish, which features an herb puree of serrano chilies, grated coconut and cumin. A fresh apple cake from Provost’s mother provides the perfect autumn dessert. Royal Blue Grocery Sommelier Christina Chilcoat provides wine pairings for each dish.
