More Than Quarter of Modern Luxury’s Real Estate Awards Went to Our Agents

Modern-Luxury

Madeline Jobst, the Hewitt & Habgood Group, and Ralph Randall were among our honorees.

The April issue of Modern Luxury Dallas includes the magazine’s inaugural Real Estate Awards. The list of honorees is comprised of 76 individuals and groups, and more than a quarter of them are Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate agents.

The magazine identifies them as “the who’s who of Dallas real estate agents — those selling everything from Beverly Drive homes to Texas-sized ranch properties. Modern Luxury Dallas has narrowed down a list of the city’s most in-the-know home hunters who represent buyers and sellers alike.”

Congratulations to all of our honorees!

Bloomberg Declares That ‘It’s Almost Impossible to Buy a House in Dallas’

1-1022NMontclair_NEW
The Hewitt & Habgood Realty Group is offering 1022 N. Montclair Avenue for $897,500.

When Bloomberg wrote that it’s almost impossible to buy a house in Dallas, the news organization turned to our own Steve Habgood for some expert analysis.

Habgood, president of the MetroTex Association of Realtors, told Bloomberg that new listings get multiple offers in mere days. “People are saying, ‘Great, I can get a premium on the price I paid, but where am I going to live once I sell?’” he’s quoted as saying. “The options are pretty limited.”

Case in point: As I type this, the Hewitt & Habgood Realty Group has 24 properties listed, and 14 of those are under contract.
