Prices Continue to Rise For Houses Near Lakewood Elementary School

July’s average sales price and median sales price for homes in the Lakewood Elementary School attendance zone increased by 13 percent and 10 percent, respectively, when compared to a year prior.

These statistics from North Texas Real Estate Information Systems show that for-sale properties remain scarce in Lakewood. There was only two months’ worth of inventory in July, which means if no other homes came on the market, it would take only 60 days for all of the current inventory to sell. A healthy market has about six months’ worth of inventory.
