Couple’s Condominium at The House Featured in D Home Magazine Spread

Neal Stewart and Alan Carrell’s condo at The House was featured in D Home. (Photos by Nathan Schroder)

Our friends at D Home recently focused on a condominium in The House, the Victory Park high-rise that a team of Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate agents has been marketing for two years. This particular condo belongs to Neal Stewart and Alan Carrell, who are veterans of high-rise living. They owned four units in Turtle Creek’s Vendome before moving to The House in 2013. Among the factors that lured them to The House: the Philippe Starck architecture (“Just to get to be in this building — it’s a treat,” Carrell says) and the concierge services and amenities (“It’s like checking into a resort,” Stewart says). Eight-Screen Luxury Cinema Complex Reportedly Planned For Victory Park

The pool at The House looks like a movie set, appropriately enough.

Residents of The House already enjoy easy access to concerts and professional sports at American Airlines Center as well as cultural institutions such as the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and the Dallas Art Museum. They’ll soon be able to enjoy a neighborhood movie theater. The Dallas Morning News’ Steve Brown reports that Mexico City-based Cinépolis plans to open its first Texas complex in Victory Park. The eight-screen luxury cinema should be open by 2017.

More Than Quarter of Modern Luxury’s Real Estate Awards Went to Our Agents

Madeline Jobst, the Hewitt & Habgood Group, and Ralph Randall were among our honorees.

The April issue of Modern Luxury Dallas includes the magazine’s inaugural Real Estate Awards. The list of honorees is comprised of 76 individuals and groups, and more than a quarter of them are Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate agents.

The magazine identifies them as “the who’s who of Dallas real estate agents — those selling everything from Beverly Drive homes to Texas-sized ranch properties. Modern Luxury Dallas has narrowed down a list of the city’s most in-the-know home hunters who represent buyers and sellers alike.”

Congratulations to all of our honorees!

Aesthetics and Location of The House Lure Top Designer From Turtle Creek

As one of Dallas’ most sought-after interior designers, Neal Stewart knows quality when he sees it. That’s why the longtime high-rise resident traded his home along Turtle Creek for a condominium in The House.

Stewart was struck by the 28-story luxury building’s design, featuring the stamp of a world-renowned architect, and its location at 2200 Victory Ave., just a few blocks north of downtown.

“Here, there are so many more cultural opportunities,” Stewart said. “You can walk to museums, to Klyde Warren Park, to fabulous restaurants — we can spend a weekend here and never use the car.”

Indeed, the American Airlines Center, Katy Trail, Arts District, Perot Museum, and Dallas World Aquarium are all within walking distance of The House. To make things even more convenient, The House’s concierge will valet homeowners’ cars as well as help with groceries, packages, dry cleaning, and a multitude of other requests.

“I’ve been pleasantly surprised by what a tight ship they run, by how great the concierge service is,” Stewart said of the work done by First Service Residential. “It’s just a very well-run building.”

Stewart said he was also impressed by The House’s numerous amenities, including a 130-foot saltwater infinity pool overlooking downtown, cabanas, an outdoor fireplace, a built-in grilling station, a hot tub, and a dog park. Residents also enjoy a well-appointed lounge with a billiards area, a fitness center, and a conference room.

If you are considering a transition to this convenient and luxurious lifestyle, do not delay. Seventy-five percent of the condominiums in at The House are spoken for, and 9 of 19 floor plans are completely sold out.

The House is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, call 214-303-1200, email sales@thehouse.com, or visit thehouse.com.
