“Carmen is one of the most courteous, professional, thorough, and hungry young agents I have ever worked with. Ryan knows property in Dallas like the back of his hand. Most important, I trusted both of them; both advised me when NOT to buy a property as well as when we had hit one they liked. Had it not been for their determined hard work, I would not have found a home I am thrilled with.”
Cookbook author Chandler Lindsley appeared on Channel 8’s Good Morning Texas on Monday to promote her new cookbook, and the TV station played up the fact that she is the granddaughter of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. But we’re highlighting her here because of another familial relation: she’s the mother of one of our associates, Ruth Lindsley.
Chandler’s latest cookbook, Dallas Arboretum Pumpkin Festival Recipes, was inspired by the Pumpkin Village that sprouts each year during Autumn at the Arboretum. Resplendent in an orange sweater, Chandler showed the television audience how to make pumpkin hummus, and she also brought along some pumpkin ice cream and pumpkin muffins.
Sound good? Then pick up the cookbook in the Arboretum’s gift shop for the low, low price of $4.95.
